Match report Skipper Ed Piller reports he won the toss and batted. Dan Twitchett with 53 and Pete Farrar with 21 got off to a great start but a mini collapse was averted by a terrific half century from Colin Offord (54 no) led to Epps posting a respectable 188 for 9
A great start from John both John Sanger (44 for 4) and a miserly spell from Richard Crone led to Ongar shutting up shop early doors- support from the skipper (2 for 24) set up a tight finish. Victory was within grasp but the last two batters could not be winkled out!! Ongar closed on 155 for 8 in their 50 overs.
The draw brought us 9 points and Ongar walked away with 6.
